Team Names/Divisions
The Finns have a slightly different team /division structure than USA hockey. Here is how they have grouped our teams. Click on each for their schedule.
- Boys U14 (2009) A = Haverford Hawks 14U A Dolan
- Boys U14 (2009) AA = Haverford Hawks 14U A Dinmore
- Boys U15 (2008) A = Haverford Hawks 14U A McKay
- Boys U15 (2008) AA = Haverford Hawks 14U AA Donegan
- Boys U16 (2007) AA = Haverford Hawks 16U Combined
Getting to the Rinks:
- From our hotel, take the lane towards East and choose a train to Vuosaari.
- The metro ride to Vuosaari will take less than 20 minutes. Hop off at Vuosaari and walk 15 minutes to the Aimo Makinen Areena (their home rink).
- Remember to check out the walking route beforehand.
- Note: if the game you want to see is at the Myllypuro ice rink, you’ll need to take any metro train towards East and hop off at Itakeskus. Walk 10 minutes to the Myllypuro ice rink. A map can be found at the Exchange website.
Other information
- The café will be open throughout the tournament and there’ll be outdoor food sales as well.
- Planmeca Golf Areena right – next door to Aimo Makinen Areena rink – will be open during the tournament (and is licensed to sell alcohol).
