BAGGAGE INFORMATION FOR PLAYERS
Packing List for Players
Checked Bags – Players
Our players will pack all their regular clothes and toiletries in the provided CCM duffel bag. Suggestion: put the clothes in vacuum-sealed bags to avoid catching any odors in the equipment.
Once that smaller duffel is packed, it will go INSIDE the larger equipment bag, and their hockey equipment will go around it. That is the bag that will be checked for the trip. This bag cannot weigh more than 23kg (50lb) and may not exceed 190cm (75in) in length. If it exceeds these measures, a heavy bag charge applies.
Hockey Sticks
Players and coaches will drop off their sticks on Wednesday night, March 29 between 7 and 9. Bring both regular and backup sticks.
You will not be able to check a stick with your equipment bag. Hockey sticks are counted as one separate piece of baggage when carried separately, in which case your hockey equipment would be checked in as two pieces of baggage (hockey bag + sticks). If you have multiple sticks, they can be taped together and counted as one piece of baggage. Please note that it’s not allowed to tie the hockey stick with a strap or tape onto the outside of the bag. AVOID THIS HASSLE – bring your bag to the Skatium on March 29 between 7 and 9 p.m.
Carry-Ons – Players
Players will be provided with a backpack to use as their carry-on item for the flights (and for travel while in Finland)
